Revitalizing the Philippine Cacao Industry: The Journey of Malagos Chocolate
Malagos Agri-Ventures Corporation, the makers of Malagos Chocolate, is a family-owned business that has always been committed to working with nature.
Our company is part of the Puentespina Group of Companies, which has been in the agriculture industry for over 50 years.
Along with our affiliated companies, we undertake various environmentally-focused endeavors within our hometown in Davao City on the island of Mindanao, Philippines. We construct water wells, raise goats to make artisanal cheeses, produce and sell cut flowers and foliage, grow potted plants, and operate a nature-themed resort. This resort also houses the country’s first chocolate museum, further showcasing our passion for cacao.
