Material Planner Full-Time

The Material Planner is responsible in the centralized control, ordering and coordination of the Rotable parts, necessary to perform Line and Base maintenance activities. Generally, the Material Controller handles materials (Company owned parts) that are not covered by any pool and service providers contracted by Cebu Pacific.

As a Material Planner, you should be someone who:

• Reviews end-user part requests to ensure no open orders exist and checks if items are covered by contracts before initiating purchases, exchanges, or loans.
• Creates system-generated Repair, Loan, Service, or Exchange Orders addressed to accredited repair vendors.
• Monitors the movement of parts for repair, overhaul, or shop visit, ensuring timely processing and return of components (e.g., loaners, leased, or exchanged parts).
• Maintains a list of approved repair vendors with verified capability lists and evaluates vendor performance based on agreed repair turnaround times.
• Coordinates corrective actions, remedies, or credit claims with underperforming repair vendors and ensures proper processing of warranty claims with the Warranty Manager.
• Handles day-to-day parts requirements for Beyond Economical Repair (BER) replacements and monitors open purchase requisitions with Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery.
• Keeps accurate records of all transactions for reference and audit purposes; tracks rotable inventory.
• Actively participates in the Cebu Pacific Safety Management System (SMS) by complying with all safety regulations, reporting hazards, and ensuring MSDS compliance for DG shipments.

Qualifications:

• Must be a college graduate with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering or other engineering-related course.
• Preferably with CAAP AMT; PRC license.
• – Must have minimum of four years experience working as a Material Planning Engineer
