ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE SUPERVISOR Full-Time

As Engineering Excellence Supervisor, you will be responsible in proposing the design, specifications, operations, and maintenance for one’s assigned scope: Facilities and Utilities, Material Handling Equipment, Thermal Processing Machines, Mechanical Processing Machines, Packaging Machines, and Automation, Control and Detection Systems. You will also be checking and reporting site compliance on engineering standards and processes.

Major Responsibilities:

Standards Management:

• Draft the manual for the machine design, specifications, operations and maintenance based on one’s assigned scope
• Cascade the approved engineering standards across all sites
• Prepare the initial standardization of machine setup of existing and new machines
• Conduct research on new machine technology and propose them to one’s manager

Compliance and Reporting:

• Coordinate with manufacturing operations team to check site adherence to engineering standards
• Monitor and analyze KPI results and recommend ways to enhance engineering efficiencies
• Update and maintain all relevant documents of the team using a secure, collaborative platform

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate of Mechanical or Electrical, Engineering, preferably a licensed Engineer
• With at least 5 years related work experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is required; food manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Familiarity with engineering principles and methodologies relevant to food manufacturing
• Knowledge of a specific engineering discipline based on one’s assigned scope, e.g., mechanical, electrical, civil, wastewater
• Familiarity with production machines and their technical specifications (e.g., used for baking, mixing), especially in the food industry
• Willing to be assigned in Ortigas and do Manufacturing Site visits as necessary
